PENDING SALE: Desire is a 1980 Kelly Peterson 44 (KP #264), center cockpit, cutter-rigged sloop. She's a well loved and well maintained boat, ideal for cruising and living aboard, with 2 spacious staterooms and 2 heads.
Desire is a USCG documented vessel (Morro Bay, California), and is currently moored in La Paz, Baja California Sur.
We have been proud owners and have lived aboard her full time since 2007. Desire was previously owned by one of our favorite music composers, Basil Poledouris. If you've ever seen The Hunt for Red October, many of the Conan the Barbarian movies, the mini-series Lonesome Dove, or scores of other projects - you'll understand the respect and pride we have of the history of Desire.
It's with sadness that we depart this lifestyle and are hopeful that someone can continue to live the dream.
